On CNG not going above 80km/h

Hi,

yesterday my cultus on cng was not going above 80km.hr. i tried hard but no success, then i shifted it on petrol and car was running fine, so it was some thing with cng.

i went to cng mechanic he opened the bonut, worked for 5 to 10 minutes, asked for 300 , and i was good to go.

can any one tell me . what he really did? can i do it myself? some adjustment i guess.

and why this issue happened? any reason for this?
