Overheating problem in the Lancer

Overheating problem in the Lancer

I have a lancer 2005, 1600cc autotransmission. It is getting overheated after strucking in the traffic. I have changed the head gaskit twice, but problem is still there. Got radiator cleaned, even removed thermal valve for water flow from radiation to head. Cooling fans and their control unit also seems to be working fine.
But when ever i press the car little hard for few minutes or it gets struck in slow traffic, it starts to over heat. Strange thing is that when i pull the car to road side, keeping engine running at idle, its temperature drops back to normal within few seconds.
can somebody help me?
