Paint Thickness Checker

Hi,

Have anyone of u heard about car paint thickness checker? Recently I sold my car and the buyer brought with himself this device to check the paint job. Even thought some part of the fender was repaired by Toyota agency using genuine paint but it detected it and i had to give the buy some discount

there are devices like these available. my company imports them for industrial use. but they are the expensive type for industry and not for personal, once in years use. might be ok if a showroom buys em tho.
