Piston Knock!!!!!

Piston Knock!!!!!

Please help me bros..!!! There is something wrong with ma cars engine or tuning.. It runs perfectly on gas but on petroll.... TTTTOOOOOO much piston knocking occurs.... Only the first gear goes without knocking and the in the forth gear i can`t even put my foot on the accelerator... not even a lil.. the knocking continue like hell.. Please someone especially an expert advice me what to do.. Thanks a lot





A few details that might help finding the problem


Car: Suburu


Engine: 4efe Efi 1.0


Wiring has been checked many times and the computer is also fine....


Please someone help me its urgent...


Oohhh and on Gas there is no piston knocking not at all B-) doesn`t matter how much i floor it

its seriously ignition timing issue...


just chk it with a timing light... the timing will be retarded thats y da engine in knocking.


see what knocking actually is. the spark plug fires the mixture just before the piston reaches TDC. now if the timing is retarded, then spark plug will fire too early before the power stroke. and engine will knock.
