Plug Change

Plug Change

Dear all,
i have seen many posts here about plug change, when a visual defect is seen or theres a loss of power; but is there any method of checking a plug with respect to its design power without installing it in your car?
I have normal (cheap) ngk plugs in my car, around 13K, still running good. They appear good. Mechanic says they are okay, but logically they should have worn internally by now. How to check this?

if the electrode is there the plug has life, the electorode finished the plug can no longer work.

on inspecting the plug u can easily see if the electorde is visible u can use the plug. a spark plug is easily good for 20,000 kilo meters
