Ported engine

I was checking an add of a supra on net it says ported engine wat does it mean?

Potring as the name implies means to improve port size foe better air flow, using a flow bench etc. Its a practice that in a mild form is used to remove casting imperfections in runners/manifolds allowing better airflow to increasing ports size and giveing the air passage way a satire finsish. There's various schools of thought as to whats best but it eventually comes down to testing and realising what your needs are.
