On the M2, my father was driving and realized the car was not moving right, and so stopped at the petrol pump to the tire pressure.

Showed that the rear right tire was 14 PSI and 30 others. That the band was checked and found that the side of the band to split and tear, probably due to the high speed driving on an under-inflated tire with others differently.

Anyway, so we went to the spare, but learned that was pierced by more than 5 places: |

So we had a band now - it was available 195/65/15 used LM 702 (mfg 2007). Did it in 2400. Fair price or not?

I have already said this before in many threads
Dunlop Eco 201, LM702 and all other entry level variants (except sp sport 490) are very soft tires and are notorious for developing sidewall problems.

Dont buy a single new LM702 and instead buy some other brand for your dad's civic(I would suggest Sp Sport 9000 but i guess you like Yokos. If you want Yokohama go for S drive).
