Problem in Daewoo Fuel Injection

Problem in Daewoo Fuel Injection

Dear Friends Assalamoalikum,

I have a Daewoo Racer 1993 model and I am having a problem i.e. the car doesnt run on petrol. I have got it checked by a mechanic and he said the Fuel Pump and Map Sensor are out of order. He further explained and showed me the two pipes one to take the fuel into the injector and the other takes out the fuel back (wapsi ka pipe). The first one is working fine and getting the fuel to the injector but the other one is not taking the fuel back i.e. nothing is coming out of carburetor. Hence after starting the car on petrol as I press the accelerator paddle the car dies but there is no problem in the starting on petrol.
Please explain that, has the mechanic diagnosed the problem correctly, if not then what can be the cause of above problem and if yes what may be the expected cost of these parts in Lahore.
Thanks and regards,

your mechanic is no good.
there is nothing wrong with ur setup and the only problem is ur fuel pump in the tank and ur filter under the car and the best way to test ur pump is u take the inlet pipe from the injector side and switch ur ignition to ac dont use the self start just ac and put ur finger on the mouth of ur injector fuel pipe and see if ur pump generates enough pressure to make the petrol jump through ur fingers. if your able to stop the fuel with ur fingers so ur pump is not ok and is not generating enough pressure so check ur filter if ur filter is ok then ur pump is weak as fuel injector cars need alot of fuel pressure and u can see the fuel line of daewoo which is quiet thick to hold that much pressure....do let me know if that solves ur problem and if ur car starts and does not take the throttle is because of decreased pressure and when the pressure is rite ur car will run ok.......
