Problem starting vehicle on Petrol

Problem starting vehicle on Petrol

Hello friends

Need some help. I m using Suzuki Mehran. Was running it on CNG for last 6-8 months. Yesterday i thought of driving it on petrol for few kilometers (Petrol was in the tank for last 6-8 months) So while i was driving, i shifted it to petrol. Drove it on petrol for few kilometers, it was running normally (just abit of knocking). I parked it on petrol at night. However, when i tried starting it in the morning, its not starting. Battery is working but a strange sound of self is coming. Tried to start it on CNG but still the same sound of self and not starting.
Any idea what could be the problem?
Regards

The car will not start on CNG right off the bat, you'll have to somehow get rid of the excess petrol from the carb. Try letting it sit overnight again but this time leave the setting to CNG and then start is the following morning on CNG ONLY. Issue is possibly due to bad petrol that might have gotten contaminated over time.
