Problem with 2010 GLI

Salam,
Whenever my car is idling its rpm stablizes just above 600 mark. Some times when i stop at signals rpms drop to just below or at 600 mark and then gets up a little around 650-700 rpm. Some times it fluctuates between 600 to 800 rpm and stablizes at about 700.

Secondly, while downshifting gears i-e from 4rth to 3rd,3rd to 2nd and from 2nd to first, with my cluthch pedal depressed, rpm drops to around 600 and as soon as i release the clutch the rpms jump back up.
Like if i am driving on 50km per hour and i m in 3rd gear, and i apply breaks to reduce speed and meanwhile press my clutch to change gears,at this moment rpm drops to around 600 and when the clutch is released rpms rise up again.
My mileage is around 8000km.No cng and no other alterations.

And also while driving in lower gears i-e 2nd at low speeds say 15km/h,rpms stays at around 700 and some times drop below 600,which makes it very difficult to drive in 2nd gear at low speeds.

i have gone to toyota people with these issues and they cleaned the
throttle body, resetted the controller and also used the intelligent tester device but according to them there is no problem in the car.By the way car rpms seemed to be better for a day after the above exercise, but now its the same.

I havnt such behaviour in the earlier corolla.
Is this normal for this model of corolla?

Thank You

The Toyota dealership ripped you off. Ideally RPM should fluctuate MAX +/- 50 rpm e.g.. I tested a couple of corollas using their electronic device and in all, if idle was at 750rpm then max fluctuation band was 700-800rpm.

Simple solution for your problem is to increase the rpm to 800. Also personally check using the electronic device the fluctuation (if it is more than +/- 50, you may need tuning and get AFM cleaned up). It will also reveal any faulty sensors.
