Problem with Honda Civic 2022 VTI IMA Sensor
Problem with Honda Civic 2022 VTI IMA Sensor
Hi Guys
A while back I went to get my car tuned and they were doing their job just until one of the mechanics disturbed the IMA Sensor, I don’t know what he did but I’m sure it was from their end. I came home after turning and to my surprise car is ping its rpm when the engine is cold. When I went to and my car was outside and cold when I woke up for work car rpm ped once the car reaches the normal temperatures problem faded away
I went to the Honda Drive and they scanned my car and checked literally everything but on their end everything was normal. There was no problem at all. I told them everything but
They couldn’t figure it out either so I took it upon myself and started to Google the problems and found out that when the car is at Cold Engine Temperatures it supplies more air and more fuel in order to sustain the temperatures of the car.
I figured out that he disturbed the IDLE Mixture Adjuster IMA, and the supply of fuel was reduced when the IMA was disturbed.
Now Sensors have to Rear 0.6 - 4.5 V in order to run correctly. But the car engine is still at cold temperatures meaning the sensor is not reading it correctly.
Now coming to the fix I found I just have to readjust IMA Sensors but the main problem is I don’t know how so if any expert can help me I would grateful.

First of All, You are a little wrong here not completely but a little bit So Im gonna correct you When you adjust it will only affect your cars engine and only if it is being operated at 100%.
You can adjust it However follow these steps:
1. Get an Exhaust Gas Analyzing Machine
2. Use this Machine to adjust your Idle Fuel Mixture.
One more thing RPM of the car is controlled by the IACV Idle Air Control Valve. The purpose of it is to raise the RPM When the car is on Choke and it also Stabilise it when it is warmed up!
