Problems with my Spectra

Problems with my Spectra

I experience two (seem to) small but annoying problems with my Spectra. I will appreciate if someone can give some good tips for their solution:

1. There is some strange vibrations at 1500 rpm. This is very consistent all the time, or drive or inactive. Every time I increase the speed, there is an increase in vibration and noise of the engine around 1500 rpm. No noise or vibration before or after this.

2. Sometimes when the car is stationary and the rpm drops to somewhere below 800, heard a strange noise. It seems that some metal parts collide. I do not know where it comes from. Tak and the branch-branch, and goes away when I press the accelerator and the engine speed is above 900.

One thing to note is that I belt and clutch plate replaced got one months ago. And I think the second sound appeared after a transmission oil change. I had Mobil gear oil (can not remember any other specs) from Concept Motors (also sell Liqui Moli Cofran and engine oils)

Thanks in advance for the useful comments.

I believe that tak-tak sound you are telling about is of cams.
And i think its normal. Same is the case with my car from the beginning. Gives more sound when engine oil is cold and reduces afterwards.

And can't say anything about the first problem...could be a bad/worn out engine/gear foundation.
