Projector Headlights Issue

Hey all, greetings !!

Here's my issue .. I have two questions regarding projector lights, and need assistance to save myself from possible rip-off by some Montgomery road electirician.

1- The rings in projector lights - well, one of them doesn't work. When we connected the power, one of them started glowing, and the other flickered a little on one end (like a kharab tube-light), but it doesn't even do that now.

Is it repairable? If yes, can anyone suggest some place in Lahore? And the estimated cost.

2- The encircled light in attached pic - it has a lense cover type thing on it. Can anyone suggest a blub for this light? Because mine is dim like a candle, and the light is scattered in random patterns.

Kindly suggest exactly which bulb..actually what exactly should I ask for when I go to a bulb shop?

the problem with these cheap replica/chinese/taiwanese projectors is that they do not have any ridging in the back of the lense which helps with the light patern, as they come they have the worst possible light pattern since hte rear of the lenses are flat. if you require them to actually work and give you usable light you'll have to swap the lenses with original ones from a car that had similarly sized lenses.

as for the angel eyes (the ring) it's possible that the connectino is damaged inside as every aftermarket system i've seen in PK till now uses ridged plastic and LEDs to illuminate them. it's possible that the connection to the LEDs is broken which is easy to do since the wires are so brittle and small. replacing an LED is VERY cheap but depending on where it is located in the housing the labour could cost a little. best to take it to a qualified electrician and have them take a look.
