Hi guys

Given the heat levels of the past few days, I got thinking how in Saudi Arabia we used to have all these different window tinting companies (V-Cool, 3M, Ziebart etc.) whose window films reduce the amount of heat in the car, and you could choose the percentage of your tint. Here in Pakistan the only tints I've seen are usually on Mehrans, with crappy installation (air bubbles etc) and no heat reduction whatsoever.

I just wanted to know whether there any places here (Lahore in particular) where one can get a quality window tint that will reduce heat even with low percentage tints (as dark tinting is banned). That would really help protect the interior of the car and sitting in the car at noon time more bearable. so...is there any chance I could get a similar service here? I'm prepared to pay good money for it! (tints by 3M, Ziebart usually cost in the region of 2000 riyals, around 44000 rupees).

the thing with lighter tints is you're less likely to be stopped and the passengers are visible, which is pretty much why the law was introduced. also i don't think window films like 3M can be removed easily by some traffic police guy, you can hardly tell they're even there.
