RATE THIS ENGINE OIL.......

hi guys,

Shell Helux Sper CNG

i use this oil in my 1.3 lancer on cng,,, actually the mitsu ppl just prefer this one.........

1. i wanted to know that how good is this???

2. is it mineral oil or synthetic one???

3. plz suggest other engine oils beter then this???

this is mineral oil..n its total crap!it only has the basic properties 2 lubricate n nothing more than tht!n woh b it loses its properties after 3-4k of driving n breaks down into sludge if not changed!this does no more than the basic funtion dont expect it 2 cleanse ur engine for u or nything else coz only fully synthetics do that!i wud recommend changing the brand of ur oil if u really love ur car n care abt it!besides shell oils r known to wear out pistons rings faster than u can say OYE YEH KYA HOAH?
might as well switch to fully synthetic n play it safe..mobil1,liqui moly,shell ultra etc tc r all fully synthetic oils!the only difference is tht they are better n they have additives in em which clean up ur system as u keep on driving!they r alot more expensive than mineral but definately worth it!
