Reason for good start ?
Reason for good start ?
hey fellas ,
i wonder what is the actual reason behind good starting of any car is it the spark plugs ? or current setting , or starting coil , battery perfromance ? battery terminal ? plugs gap ? engine itself ? what basically is the key for good start whether its in the morning of during the day i often see car starts well when engine is warm but when engine is cold even after half an hour it takes atleast 2 self to start i would like to ask our experts what main things we need to check for a better start of the car ? i surely think cng setting might have a role in starting aswell because of flow of gas does matter but i have seen new cars taking long to start on the other hand old cars start perfectly i am sure some one would give us actual idea and things to check for proper half self start when engine is cold thanks in advance .
regards

If the battery is weak, you wont have the engine cranking.
If the coil is bad, then the spark needed to ignite the air/fuel mixture won't do its job.
If the plugs are bad or poorly gapped, you'll have the same issue.
If the air filter is clogged, you wont have the desired mixture.
So basically it is all the things that you mentioned that need to be in perfect condition for a 'Good Start'
As far as CNG is concerned, I leave it to the real experts who have studied this fuel. It burns dry & high (temp) & the engine needs to be advanced permanently to cater to this fuel.
