Common Issues:
Dirty Air Filters: A clogged o r dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine, which negatively impacts the air-fuel mixture and reduces engine performance, leading to higher fuel consumption.

Fuel Injector Problems: If the fuel injectors are clogged o r malfunctioning, they won’t supply the correct amount of fuel to the engine, resulting in inefficient combustion and poor fuel economy.

Worn-out Spark Plugs: Worn spark plugs can cause misfires and inefficient combustion, increasing fuel consumption and reducing engine efficiency.

Solutions:
Regular Engine Maintenance: Schedule regular maintenance for engine components such as air filters, fuel injectors, and spark plugs. Replace air filters every 15,000-20,000 km to ensure proper airflow.
Fuel System Cleaning: Have the fuel injectors professionally cleaned every 30,000 km o r so to prevent clogs and ensure efficient fuel delivery.
Spark Plug Inspection: Inspect and replace spark plugs as needed typically every 30,000-40,000 km to maintain optimal engine performance.
