Rolla eating fuel

Guys my GLi 1.3 is draining the fuel tank pretty quickly these days. Its clocked around 60K and I filled it up the other day, and now its almost half way thru. Giving me in the 8-9Km/litre range which is nasty! Used to give me 12-13 only a few weeks ago! Any ideas would be apprecated!

foremost reasons: plugs, air filter element, tire inflation.
if everything else's okay get it checked on OBD-II
