RPM Question!!

Assalam-o-Alaikum:-
Mai nai suna tha k RPM mai red line jo takreban 6500RPM par hoti hai jab wahan tak engine kam karta hai tu ECU automatically fuel cut off kardayta hai, lakin kal mai apni civic bhaga raha tha 1st gear mai thora late gear switch kia tu us waqt mai nai meter ko dekha k meri civic takreban 60Km/h ki speed par thi aur rpm 7000 par tha. lakin fuel cut off nahi hoa .

kia civic 98 mai fuel cut off system nahi hai ya meri gari ka fuel cut off system khrab hai?

bro fuel suply is cut-off by the ecu wen the red line is reached as a whole in the top gear cz u might c that if u push ur car too much till the RPM needle goes to red line it would start making a sound like DUG DUG DUG DUG and the rpm needle would be going up and down shivering as if its trying to hold nut somthing is pushing upwards.only when ur reaching the Redline in the Top gear if u shift properly only then u get to see a cut-off.this is what my friend's 2000 vti oriel does though its modified thats y u get to c it very often in a short distance other wise for a stock car it would need a lon long stretch to reach to that speed a and rpm level for cut-off cz a modified engine produces more power so the red line reaches easily in a shorter time.
civic 95 i guess is not electronic i guess so it mightnot be having ecu so reslutingly cant perforn a cut-off even at higher speed.correct me if am wrong but the above facts are all correct...
