RR Sport HSE - Questions & Answers

Most of you have probably seen my SUV thread quite some time back.. Anyway, I have a few technical questions for the enthusiasts and Land Rover specialists on this forum..

I'll start off by asking about this strange 'speed-breaker' or speed-limiter type phenonmenon that I have experienced lately. Sometimes when I'm ridin' low, and I'm at the top of the que while waiting for the light to turn green, I tend to accelerate out of the rush to avoid the traffic and just get away haha

But what happens is, randomly, the speed might get cut off and even if I'm floorin' it, it wont climb up above 60 or 80 (varies from time to time), for a while, untill I stop floorin' it and then re-accelerate - and it works just fine!

Now is this due to the ride height that I've been playing around with? Or something else? Happens rarely so doesn't bother me at all, the Range Rover Sport is a fast SUV, acceleration is amazing.

Anyone who has the required knowledge, I'd be grateful if you could shed some light on the matter. Thanks

Simple. Its because of the ride height. What happens is when you floor it the second time it disengages and hence it picks up.
