Seems Battery Issue but not sure

My cousin has new Santro (around 800km driven). He left it standing from 10 days and when tried to start one fine morning, was unable to get the self working. Local mechanic charged the battery and then it worked for couple of days but now again today he had to jump start the car. I adviced him to go to the showroom and get the battery replaced.

Could there be any other issue with it?

He told him he saw water drops coming from the exhaust pipe when he started today in morning. There was no water dropping later on.

i think the car battery gone or the charging unit in your car battery isnt working properly, just make sure your car charging system works fine.. look for the voltage of the battery using VOLT METER having set on DC and chk it, if it comes to 12 V its fine else the battery have being deterioted, replacement is needed, if the voltage is fine then the charging unit is the CULPRIT.
the water you are talking about is the HEALTHY sign that your car engine is absolutely perfect.
