Well, instead of going through all that heart ache, remove negative terminal of the battery to refresh ECU of any fault codes previously stored and just short the teminals (refer to manual or specify vehicle)on the Outlet market "diagnosis" before turning the key to the on position. Any sensors playing up will be shown by the corresponding number of times the indicator flashes. Keep in mind that some cars like the new Corolla and Nissan have a Two Trip Diagnistic function. For them, remove negative terminal, reconnect start vehicle for 60 seconds, remove again and check.
Most pakistani models come without and 02 sensor although some newer engines incorporate the knock sensor, Like 2NZ, 3ZZ and the 1ZZ, the 4A-FE neither had an o2 sensor nor the Knocker (i'm not referring to JDM lean burn engines).
To use a multimeter is another option, but checking snsors such as the Throttle position sensor and MAF can be a real pain as voltage varies over a broad spectrum.
Alternativly you could just wait for the amber "check engine" light to illuminate.
Why'd you wanna check em anyway?
