Small problem wid auto power window

guys theres a small problem wid my cars' auto powered window..the driver side one...u know it has a system that if u stick ur hand in it while its going up,it automatically retracts down,now,the problem in mine is that,when u use this auto system,the windows retracts itself just after going 3-4 inches up..even if u dnt interfare wid it...seems like there is sum problem wid its sensor or sumthing...it not always does this,but some times,but if u use it in the manual mode,it goes up widout any problem..


i want to know wat can the problem be nd where is the sensor of this system located?is it an easy fix?

Hi I think you need to get your rubber channel replaced. . The rubber of the channel gets dried up due to scorching heat and thus gives resistance when the window is sliding up. I had the same problem with my SE saloon, Toyota garden mechanic gave it a quick fix by spraying the dash board spray into the channels. what you can do is slide the window down and regularly spray the dash board spray into the channel. hope it help, do let me know if it works out for you.
