Speaker Suggestion Please :-)
Hey Guys,
I need my car's speakers changed since she grew old and the sound quality isn't as it used to before. I was with the original kenwood 718, but gets much direct sunlight and light rain water during service, they have lost their power. So I need suggestions on what to buy.
Here are my Possible reasons:
Kenwood 6935 - heard a lot abt them
Pioneer 6992 - Many people recommend them, but once she heard ihavent
Infinity Kappa 693.7i - (they cost about 13,000 here, but ive heard the sound quality is not of this world compared with pioneer kenwood n)
Infinity Reference - Good, but not as good as Infinity Kappa
If anyone has other suggestions please let me know. I'm really in favor of Infinity Kappa 693.7i speakers, but because I am installing them in an alto, they are visible and highly vulnerable to getting stolen and I wouldnt want a speaker set to get 13,000 rupees stolen
Im running them on a Solid Audio amplifier with a Pioneer 3950 Pre.
I dont want bass, I want clarity. I get all the bass I want my D2

Install the Kappas, replaced their grill with a number of used and worn Pioneer / Kenwood speaker grill and chill
but honestly speaking, if you're spending that much, considering you get some nice items and place them in front of your car to turn. You can keep the current 718s for the rear passengers to fill.
