Stages of modification

Could anybody told me what are the different stages of modification. I dont know what are stage 1, stage 2 and stage 3.

Waisay to theres no real stages of Modding but people have made up these stages just for better understanding...

Heres wat I think they are:

Stage 1: N/A Engine, Free Flowing Intake, Headers and Exhaust !

Stage 2: Turbocharged engine (stock internals) less than 10Psi

Stage 3: Turbocharged Engine (low compression pistons) more than 10 Psi!!!

Some wud disagree to this but this is how I put it!
