Steering Wheel - a little harder than before

for the last couple of days, i feel the steering wheel of my car is little hard on turns. its a power steering. what could be the reason?
power fluid, belt etc.

can anyone help plz?

Hello!
Well There are many reasons for this....
Check Power Steering Fluid Level....if its low on fluid....get it upto mark......!
2nd thing is that ur Rack might need Greasing on Pinions....as they are used VITZ from Japan or other countries...and standing dere from quiet a time...so grease might get dry or get hardened......ask mechanic to open rack boots and grease pinions with new fresh good grease.....!
try this...u will find some difference for sure......!
If boots are torned also......Replace them also.....!! and get ur car aligned.......! Check Air Pressure on Tyres...Maintain it and its easy for you to manage Steering....
@omair....i think ur XE is not powered...it have manual rack pinion....u also try greasing rack pinions......! u might find some good results....!
