I’m noticing some unusual behavior with my Toyota Aqua 2013 model, and I’m wondering if it could be related to the thermostat. Over the past few days, I’ve observed the following:
The engine temperature gauge seems to take longer than usual to reach the normal operating temperature.
There’s a noticeable decrease in heater performance the air inside the cabin isn’t getting as warm as it should.
My fuel efficiency has decreased slightly, and I’ve heard that a failing thermostat can cause this.
I’m curious if anyone else has experienced thermostat failure in their Aqua. What were the exact symptoms you noticed? Was it easy to diagnose, and how did you go about fixing it?
Also, is it safe to drive the car with a failing thermostat, o r should I replace it immediately to avoid further issues?
