Tapet Adjustment (Mehran)?

few dayz back i went for the tuning of mehran nd mechanic told me that u need tapet adjustment of ur car , i said how i didnt feel any prb while problem he said to me the car is giving a sound when u just start it nd after 4-5 mins when engine of the car heat up it works fine nd he asked me to 700 rs for it .i want to ask u guys which thing ll show me that my gari require tapet adjustment rest isnt 700 is much for this work ?nd how much u think is the cost for this work ? plz guide me.thnx

Anyways,tappet adjustment is only needed when u can hear a tick tick sound when u start the engine,there is a distinct sound of tappet and if u have heard ur car engine when normal u'll distingush it right away.As for charges..Hell no..its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy too much..I only pay rs.250 for tunning and tappet adjustment where i go for check-up.BTW Tappet adjustment is included in tunning of car at most workshops
