I have read,heard and experianced a lot about brakes.Specially the brakes of locally manufactured vehicles.I tell u there is no problem with the brakes of any locally manufactured vehicle.I talk about Corolla or Civic.Many people say that the brakes of corolla sucks or skitts.Technically the statement is wrong.No brake in the world can skitt.the primary objectives of the brakes is to jam the tyre not to stop the car.what makes the car stop is the grip of the tyre on the road.now look at the 4wheel disc abs brakes r offerd by corolla while 4wheel disc ebd brakes r offered by civic.both the brakes r allright and how they jam the tyre the whole car skitts on.The problem lies with the hardness of the general tyre wich due to policies to utilize locally manufactured accessories r installed.The skitting of the tyre is directly propotional to the grip of the tyre on the road.if the grip is less tyre suks moore and viceversa.but the brakes r allright bcoz they r jaming the tyres on the spot.Use Yokohama or bridgestone tyre for excellent results on both the cars

You mean "Inversly proportional" ...don't you?, because if it were "directly Propotional" The sxenario would be, grippier the tire the more the loss of traction.
