Toyota Hilux Vigo Transmissions Sound Issue

Hi!

The truck was doing well until I decided to change its manual transmission fluid and used Toyota 75w90 fluid. After I changed the fluid, the gears started making a grinding noise whenever I hit the gas.

Its honestly such an irritating noise. I talked to a mechanic, and they told me that the gears might be seriously damaged and that I might need a whole new gearbox. Any suggestions o r advice would be really appreciated.

yaar! I think you gotta use a proper API GL4 oil for it. GL5 wala toh gears mein takraat daalta hai. Aur ye complain usually kam gear oil ki wajah se hoti hai.
Phir se check karlo, dekho Gear oil poora bharwa hua hai ke nahi.
