Toyota Platz with 2SZ-Fe engine

Hi all experts
I have Toyota Platz. I have an issue with my car. The car starts properly, the normal running of the car is fine but the issue is that when I press the paddle to race the car it seems that the car is almost dead. o r it seems like taking air. The previous owner of my car has already removed the catalytic converter. The second issue in my car is that it has very poor fuel average.
I have completed these things
I have already cleaned the Throttle body and No check light.
I have installed a new filter the box is sealed n intacted good with TB.
Kindly help me to resolve these issues and guide me accordingly. Thanks
