Toyota Prius Gear Lever Lock

AoA.
I want to ask a question from all experts and the Prius users. Is the gear lock of the car can be locked? I mean if the gear is shifted from D to R, as the passenger sitting on the front seat, can touch it accidently, o r any child can do naughty thing, then what will be happened. Please give me your expert advice, what should we do.

Dear, You don't have to push the knob accidentally from R to D nothing will happen, because the car ECU know better when to to shift the gear so calm down.
