Toyota Revo V steering assembly is leaking

My Toyota Revo V steering assembly is leaking. Can you recommend whether I should repair it o r replace it with a Chinese assembly?

You’ll need to take apart the steering rack, swap out the seals, and then put everything back together. Just a heads-up: not all mechanics can handle seal replacements. There are some specialists who focus just on steering racks. If you head to Montgomery Road, you’ll find a bunch of them right near Labha Wire Specialist.

It’s usually best to buy the seals yourself and bring them to the mechanic. That way, you can make sure they’re replacing them while you watch.
