Using Studless Tyres in Karachiz Weather condition

What will be the performance of Studless tyres like Bridgestone Blizzaks in Karachi's climate? These tyres give much better grip on icy surfaces...........what will be their behaviour here?????????

This idea came in my mind as one of my friend told me that the most of the tyre we get here are winter rated(correct me if i m wrong)...............while browsing thru different articles i came to know that the studless tyres have micro pores which give them grip even on ice...................

in theory the shiny roads of pakistan are like driving on ice and technically winter tyres should be alot better for daily driving on our pathetic roads. this (to some degree) is true but as soon as the tyres get up to operating temperature they will lose grip since they are designed to run on very cold surfaces.

best tyres for PK are "all weather" for general purposes on road cars.
