VTI 2001 Brake problem

VTI 2001 Brake problem

I changed front discs of my ride few days back. I noticed that the grip of brakes is not good. Yesterday, I was returning from Murree and realized that the brakes are working merely 10%. I carefully drove dowm hill and when I reached Express Way and checked the brake oil whick was ok. After driving few KM on express way brake power came back. What is this problem? 1)New discs are not working 100% and 2) loss of brake grip while driving down the hill. Your expert advice is required urgently. Thanks.

Ask mechanic to bleed the brake system. There may b airtrap stuck somewhr in the line.

A technical and severe mistake done by u when driving downhill. U were using brakes rite? Try to use brake as minimum as u can while goin downhill, try to slow down the car using gears. There is a rule to drive the car, the gear which u r using for goin uphill, same gear is to be used for downhill. If u use sufficient brakes, the pads and rotors get heated up and brake looses its grip, when u reached express way, they again got cooled down and power came back
