Wat r the things included in car tuning???

wat r the things included in car tuning other than oil change etc and after how much time a car needs tuning.

my second question is that the cars with carburettors (like khyber,cultus etc )is it important to open their carburettors during the tuning.is it benificial???is it able to adjust after wards .????is the any other way of doing rather than opening the carburettor..plz comment

generic question

1. Plugs: cleaning/changing/setting gap
2. distributor point: cleaning/changing (not for CDI)
3. air filter: cleaning/change
4. tappet adjustment/ setting intake, exhaust valve gap (if engine getting overheated (tight) or having trouble in starting (loose))
5. spark timing adjustment
6. battery fluid level check

For carburetor, i don't think it requires tuning very often, for those who are afraid of its sevicing, i'd say it depends on quality of workmanship which we know
