Water in Spark plugs and connectors

Water in Spark plugs and connectors

Hi guys,

I have a deawoo with the dohc, 16v engine. Today i had a problem like missing etc. One of the plug wire was short.

When the plugs were opened, i saw traces of moiture on the plugs and connecters and they were rusted. I have seen this problem for the first time.

Can it be some fault in the engine ot some water accidentally entering the spark plug well.

I'll be gratefull for ur help and replies

Regards

Hello my innocent friend

what you termed as a fault is actually a sign of good engine and tunning - the rust on the plug means the car is properly tuned and should be giving you optimum fuel efficiency and performance. You have got nothing to worry about. You just need to change the plug wires that's all. Deawoo is such a advance technology that not many can understand it, it is the technology being used in worlds top cars. it's just that it is highly misunderstood in a soceity where the MEHRAN is a kind car.
