What is a/c and econ for

yar in air conditioning system there are two buttons in most of the cars one is econ and second one is a/c when are they used what are thier functions.~~~NOTE~~~
I NEED RIGHT AND APPROPRIATE ANSWER WAISEY CHASKAY MAT LOOOO.................. lol.. q kay tora bohat muje bhi pata hai.

AC= for Continuous run..the ac wont stop
Economy= as the name says..its an intermittent run..means the ac starts n stops after regular intervals
