What is manual transmission system in automobiles

give a brief detail about manual transmission & its working mechanism in automobile

Oc ooo...i think so i have to start from zero but anyway...its like transmission is the gears packed in metal body which are connecting engine and axel to the tires...!

Inside It there are plates form of gears not like usual gears...a preasure plate with clutch plate works together to grab hold of both connections.... the plates have different size depending upon the gear ratios...i think so this mught be enuff fo you
