Transmission jerks o r delays are often resolved with a proper fluid change and filter replacement. How much does a full transmission service cost for a BMW 5 Series in Pakistan, using ZF-certified oil and parts? Is it cheaper at independent specialists than at the dealership?

BMW uses ZF automatic transmissions, which require specific ZF Lifeguard oil. Delayed shifting o r jerks can occur if transmission oil is old o r contaminated.

Transmission Service Includes:

ZF Lifeguard 8 Fluid 7–8 liters: PKR 6,500 – 8,000/liter → PKR 50,000 – 60,000 total

Transmission Oil Pan + Filter Kit OEM: PKR 20,000 – 35,000

Labor specialist workshop: PKR 8,000 – 15,000
