If the windshield washer fluid isn’t spraying, the issue could be one of the following:
Low Washer Fluid: The most common cause is simply running out of washer fluid. Check the fluid reservoir and refill it if necessary.
Clogged Nozzles: Over time, dirt and debris can clog the nozzles that spray the washer fluid. Use a pin o r needle to gently clear the nozzles o r use compressed air to blow out any obstructions.
Faulty Pump: If you hear the pump running but no fluid is coming out, the washer pump could be malfunctioning. It might need to be replaced o r repaired.
Damaged Hoses: The hoses that connect the pump to the nozzles can crack o r detach, causing fluid to leak o r preventing it from reaching the nozzles. Inspect the hoses for any damage o r leaks.
Solution: Check the washer fluid level first. If the fluid is full, inspect the nozzles for blockages and clean them. If the issue persists, consider inspecting o r replacing the washer pump o r repairing damaged hoses.
