If the power steering fails suddenly:

Pull over safely: If youre driving, find a safe location to pull over. Loss of power steering can make the car hard to control, especially at low speeds.
Turn off the car: Shut the engine off and restart it to see if the power steering returns.
Check for warning lights: If the “Check Hybrid System” o r power steering warning light appears, it could point to a problem with the EPS system.
Avoid driving: If the problem persists, don’t drive the car, as it may be dangerous to operate without power steering.

Next step: Contact a qualified mechanic to diagnose the EPS system and repair any faults.
