Which shift mode to use when coming down hill

hi, I have a civic vti oriel prosmatec, and I wanted to know which transmission mode to use when coming downhill e.g. back from murree. The lowest mode is 2 in which prosmatec disengeges and max speeed u can get to is 80 but thats too high. In D though the prosmatec learns and maintains speed without too braking but still speed gets to 60, so it is still too fast for coming downhill on pakistani roads, so what do u people suggest I should use out of d,d3 and 2

if u r comin down hiill u shud use d2 cuz the rpm increases n enine stay 9in control, whil corolla also got S which only engages the first gear
less the braking more safer will the while comin down
