Why do Toyota Prius front tires wear out faster than rear tires?

Many Prius owners notice front tires wearing out faster, especially on one edge.
Could this be due to excessive braking, steering misalignment, o r worn-out control arms?
What steps can be taken to equalize wear between front and rear tires?

Front tires on a Prius often wear faster due to:

Excessive braking: The front tires bear more braking load than the rear tires.
Steering load: Front tires do more of the steering and turning, which leads to increased wear.
Misalignment: If the alignment is off, it may cause uneven wear, especially on one side of the front tires.

Solution: Rotate your tires every 8,000–10,000 km to distribute wear evenly.
