Why does my Honda City’s battery die frequently, even after a full charge?

Many Honda City owners in Pakistan face frequent battery drainage. Could this be due to a weak alternator, parasitic drain, o r an old battery? What are the most common reasons for a dead battery despite regular charging?

Frequent battery drainage can be caused by several factors. One common cause is a weak alternator, which may not be charging the battery properly while driving. Another possibility is parasitic drain, where electrical components, like faulty electronics o r aftermarket security systems, continue to draw power even when the car is off. An old battery, which may have lost its capacity to hold charge, is also a frequent culprit. Diagnosing the issue involves checking the alternator output and inspecting for parasitic drains o r replacing the battery if it’s past its useful life.
