Why Does My Suzuki Alto Lapin’s Power Window Switch Keep Malfunctioning?

The power window switch in my Suzuki Alto Lapin is malfunctioning, and I’m unable to control the window properly. Sometimes it works intermittently, and other times it doesn’t respond at all. Could this be a problem with the switch itself, the wiring, o r another part of the system?

A malfunctioning power window switch can be caused by:

Worn o r Damaged Switch: Over time, the switch can wear out from frequent use, causing it to fail. The contacts inside the switch can become corroded o r misaligned, making it less responsive.
Electrical Faults: Issues in the wiring o r connections between the switch and the window motor can cause the switch to malfunction. Loose o r damaged wires can lead to intermittent functionality.
Moisture o r Dirt: Water, dust, o r dirt can get into the switch, causing it to malfunction. This is particularly common in older cars o r if the window switch is exposed to the elements.
Solution:

Inspect the window switch for visible signs of damage, wear, o r corrosion and replace it if necessary.
Check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
Clean the switch if dirt o r moisture is present, but if it doesn’t fix the issue, consider replacing it with a new one.
