Why Does My Suzuki Cultus Windshield Have Streaks After Cleaning?
After cleaning the windshield of my Suzuki Cultus, I often notice streaks o r smudges left behind, even though I’ve used a proper glass cleaner and microfiber cloth. What could be causing these streaks? Is it the cleaning technique, the type of product I’m using, o r is there an issue with the windshield itself?

Streaky windshields after cleaning can be caused by several factors:
Incorrect Cleaning Technique: Using improper techniques, such as wiping in a circular motion o r not drying the surface properly, can leave streaks on the windshield. Its important to wipe the windshield in a consistent, vertical o r horizontal motion.
Dirty Cloths o r Sponges: If your cleaning cloth o r sponge has dirt o r debris on it, it could leave streaks. Always use a clean microfiber cloth to avoid this.
Residual Cleaning Product: Sometimes, the cleaner you use can leave residue on the windshield if it isn’t fully wiped off. This can cause streaking once it dries.
Water Marks: If youre cleaning on a hot day o r if water lets evaporate too quickly, they can leave mineral marks o r water streaks behind.
Solution:
Use a Microfiber Cloth: Microfiber cloths are designed to trap dirt and moisture without leaving lint o r streaks.
Clean in Sections: Wipe the windshield in sections, working from the top to the bottom, and use an up-and-down o r side-to-side motion.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Clean the windshield in a shaded area o r when the glass is cool to prevent water spots.
Use Proper Glass Cleaner: Make sure to use a glass cleaner that is designed for automotive use, as it helps eliminate residue and streaks.
