Engine overheating is a common issue in many vehicles, including the Suzuki Swift, and can be caused by several factors:

Low Coolant Levels: The most common cause of overheating is simply low coolant levels. If the coolant has leaked o r hasn’t been replaced in a while, it wont be able to absorb the heat effectively.

Faulty Thermostat: The thermostat regulates the flow of coolant through the engine. If it becomes stuck in the closed position, coolant cannot circulate properly, leading to overheating.

Damaged Radiator: A clogged o r damaged radiator can prevent the engine from cooling down as efficiently. This is especially common in older vehicles.

Faulty Cooling Fans: If the cooling fans aren’t working properly, the engine may overheat when idling o r at low speeds.
Solution: Regularly check coolant levels and inspect the radiator for any leaks o r blockages. Ensure the thermostat and cooling fans are functioning correctly. It’s also important to use the right coolant type for the climate in Pakistan, especially in hot weather.
