Why is my Alto Lapin’s engine overheating?

I’ve noticed that my Alto Lapin’s engine is overheating, and the temperature gauge keeps rising beyond the normal range. Could a faulty water pump be the cause? What are the symptoms of a failing water pump that could lead to engine overheating?

An overheating engine can indeed be caused by a faulty water pump. The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant throughout the engine to maintain a safe operating temperature. If the water pump fails, the coolant may not circulate properly, leading to the engine overheating.

Signs of a Faulty Water Pump Leading to Overheating:

Temperature Gauge: If the engine temperature rises above normal o r the gauge shows extreme temperatures, it could be due to a lack of coolant circulation caused by the water pump.
Coolant Loss: A failing water pump may also result in coolant leakage, which further contributes to overheating.
Steam o r Boiling Fluid: You might see steam coming from under the hood, indicating the engine is overheating and possibly due to the water pump malfunctioning.
Solution:
Have your water pump inspected by a mechanic. If its found to be faulty, it will need to be replaced to restore proper coolant flow and prevent engine damage.
