Why is my Alto Lapin’s engine overheating in hot weather?

I’ve noticed that my Alto Lapin’s engine tends to overheat when driving in the hot weather, especially during the summer months in Pakistan. Could the high temperatures be causing this, and what other factors should I check to prevent overheating?

Engine overheating in hot weather, especially in places like Pakistan where summer temperatures can soar, can be caused by several factors:

Common Causes:

Insufficient coolant: If the coolant level is low, it can’t properly circulate through the engine, causing the engine to overheat.
Radiator issues: A clogged o r damaged radiator won’t effectively dissipate heat from the coolant, leading to overheating.
Thermostat malfunction: A stuck thermostat may prevent coolant from flowing correctly, causing the engine to overheat.
Faulty water pump: The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine. If it fails, coolant wont circulate properly, leading to overheating.
Solution:

Check coolant levels: Regularly monitor the coolant level and top it up if necessary. Use the recommended coolant mixture for the Alto Lapin.
Ensure proper radiator function: Have the radiator checked for blockages, leaks, o r damage, especially after long drives in high temperatures.
Test the thermostat: If the engine is overheating, the thermostat may need to be replaced. It regulates coolant flow based on engine temperature.
Check the water pump: Ensure that the water pump is working correctly, as any issues with this component can lead to engine overheating.
